The Reefs of San Andres Island offers some of the best varieties of coral, creatures and fish in the Caribbean. On any given dive, you will likely see a lot of reef fish: parrot fish (juveniles and adults), damselfish, butterfly fish, angelfish and many others are present in almost all dive sites. It’s also possible to see large banks of blue tang and Creole wrasse. If you do a couple of dives with us also likely to find at least one or loggerhead turtle. There are occasional sightings of sharks, rays, and sharks!

While diving, we tend to point out uncommon creatures and fish! We also see lobsters and shellfish regularly. Night dives offers a unique diving experience, see shellfish, squid, octopus, and even bioluminescence!

Our instructors are very knowledgeable about the reef inhabitants and behaviors of fish, with lots of different areas of knowledge and interest. Sit with us, consult the book of fish and help you identify what you saw in your dives. We also have a large flat-screen TV in the shop that regularly show presentations of the things we’ve seen recently, video images dives and training experiences. Even after thousands of dives, we still are so excited to see our reef inhabitants, and perhaps even find something new!
